What was it like in La Gonâve, Haiti?

Before Okipe Children’s Village was complete, they lived here. They were orphaned from the earthquake  2010.  As you can see, kids will be kids where ever they are. they find joy in their conditions.  With over 12 years later some are in their 20’s. Okipe changed the course of their lives.

Here is a trip down a river where locals break stones into gravel for construction.
