Experience includes most all aspects of construction, I have been a licensed general contractor in California since 1995, license is currently expired.

In June of 2010 I came with my church to assist in rebuilding an orphanage in Leogan. At that time we came every other month for one to two weeks at a time and developed a training processes for masonry and concrete placement for the Haitians that we employed. By the time we finished the orphanage Sherman Balch decided to start Extollo, an organization dedicated to training Haitians proper construction techniques, specifically earthquake resistant masonry and concrete placement. I have been working with Extollo ever since then, and moved to Haiti in February 2012. Also doing projects of my own. I have a Certificat De Patente, Build Haiti Construction and Formasion.

In the past years I have been able to assemble a very capable crew of Haitians that have been trained by Extollo in all the major areas of construction. I take a core group to the project, and build a crew from the men and women in that area. Because there is usually a large amount of manual labor we are able too choose the guys that we think will receive the training well and invest in them. I could bring a crew, but we are well received by the communities we work in using this method.
